Clements House
Clements House has been home to Otterbein presidents since Thomas Kerr, president from 1971-1984. Frank and Vida Clements built the house as a personal residence in 1939. It was designed to their specifications by architects and engineers Harley & Ellington in Detroit. It cost more than $25,000 to build, a substantial sum at that time. The Westerville Public Opinion called it “one of the grandest (houses) built in the history of the city” in a Nov. 4, 1973, article.
