Mayne Hall
Mayne Hall, home to the Honors Housing community and Cardinal Science Scholars, is located in the center of campus beside the Library and houses up to 137 first year students and Resident Assistants. Mayne has four floors with men living on the 2nd floor, women on the 3rd and 4th floors. The first floor alternates based on the incoming class size. All rooms are doubles, except for one single on the first floor and each floor has one or two community bathrooms. A number of doubles on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors can be converted into triples when additional space is needed. Mayne Hall has study lounges on the upper floors with a large, main lounge on the first floor along with a laundry room, kitchen (sink, ovens, fridge, microwave) and hall staff office. Kneading Minds, a bread baking community service project coordinated by the Honors Program, takes place in the hall kitchen and main lounge most months of the academic year. Students join faculty to bake bread and proceeds are donated to a local charity.
