Tau Delta

Tau Delta was officially founded in 1921, but unofficially began with nine women in 1915, when Greek organizations were banned on campus. Its Greek letters come from the founding members' belief in Tomo Dachi (circle of friends). Otterbein has six local sororities, six local fraternities, two national fraternities, and two National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) chapters. Only upperclassmen may reside in Greek housing, provided that all other eligibility requirements of Otterbein and the given organization are met.
